  • Practice Manager – Surgical Practice

    We are seeking an experienced and motivated Practice Manager to lead a Specialist Surgical Practice located within the Adelaide CBD. The successful candidate will be a motivated, enthusiastic and hard-working individual.This role is multi-operational requiring a structured approach to human resources, operations, marketing and finance. Confidence with decision making to effect positive, progressive enhancements and scope to promote an inclusive environment that encourages all administrative and clinical staff to contribute to the continued success of the business.Indicative responsibilities include, but not limited to Day-to-day operational management of the specialist practiceSupporting the clinical and admin teams to ensure the smooth daily function of the practiceManagement of all HR related matters Rostering, Leave, Recruitment, Onboarding, Training Development, Performance BehaviourEnd-of-month reporting including, but not limited to, financial and non-financial indicatorsOverview of XERO for APAR and bank reconciliations in preparation for Bookkeeper reviewResponsible for risk and quality management, including ITphone systemAbout YouThe Practice Manager position is a senior role within the business and thus requires an individual with a proven background of leadership within a specialist (ideally surgical) practice environment. You will demonstrate a commitment to professional practice and hold yourself accountable for delivering against agreed objectives. Youll be professional with the ability to represent the business interest whilst maintaining close working relationships with your staff. Your ability to engage and motivate others will be a key strength along with modelling a strong work ethic. You will assist and engage the team in promoting continuity of high-quality care for the practice™s existing and new patients.Key CriteriaMinimum of 10-years Management and leadership experience within a medical specialist practice environmentSound interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with Surgeons, other professionals and staff both internally and externallyKnowledge of the health insurance process, communicating effectively about personal cover, outstanding gap and the personal ongoing caretreatment plan processKeen business sense and liaison with directors regarding trackable key performance indicators of a successful practiceAdvanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, with the ability to troubleshoot highly desirableIf you possess the skills required, we™d love to hear from you.
