About the Role
Reporting to the Facility Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the provisional of contemporary and complex clinical care across the site.

  • Ensure the delivery of quality Clinical and Person-First assessment of residents
  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of residents needs & wants
  • Provide support, feedback, coaching and education of Registered Nurses
  • Coordinate ACFI assessments and schedule for assigned residents


Essential Criteria
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
  • 2-3 years experience of demonstrated experience working as Care Manager/ Clinical Care Coordinator
  • Current AHPRA registration and National Police Clearance
  • Exceptional clinical knowledge and solid understanding of current aged care legislation 
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills coupled with effective leadership skills.

We are currently searching for passionate Enrolled Nurses to join our Chelsea Residential Age Care Facility in Maryborough on a permanent part time basis, working a minimum of 40hrs per fortnight.

As an Enrolled Nurse with Bolton Clarke, you will provide a broad range of client care across a variety of clinical practices. Your dedication and care will have a direct impact on the health and well-being of our wonderful residents. 

Your role:
  • Provide for and monitor the care of clients and their carers
  • Use a systematic multiple approach to clinical decision-making
  • Develop appropriate therapeutic and caring relationships
  • Collaborate with the health care team to achieve client outcomes
  • Participate in the development of a supportive environment with colleagues

What do we need from you?
  • Enrolled Nurse (Division 2) AHPRA Registration
  • Sound clinical knowledge and experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills- written and verbal
  • Organisation skills, with the ability to plan and prioritise
  • If appointed, a satisfactory Police Check will be required
  • Australian work rights 
  • 2020 flu vaccination evidence
  • Statement of Hours (not essential)

We are looking for the right Clinical Manager to lead and mentor the clinical and care team at our Palm Lake Aged Caring Community at Bargara.

Your responsibility is to manage the overall provision of evidence-based, high quality clinical care and to assist the Service Manager in the provision of management services and operational direction for staff. You will be responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of care provision and act as clinical consultant for nursing care matters.

A few obvious things:

  • Bachelor of Nursing with current APHRA registration
  • Five years’ experience as a Clinical Manager in a Residential Aged Care Service
  • Demonstrated understanding and compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards including exposure to recent accreditations.
  • Gerontology Certificate / Diploma or willingness to undertake same
  • Working knowledge of Quality Assurance Programs
  • Proven communicator with all levels of management, staff, care recipients and their representatives
  • A self-starter, you show initiative identifying problems and creative solutions and welcome the collaboration with Clinical Governance Manager and Quality Manager
  • Highly developed interpersonal communication and negotiation skills, particularly in the development and maintenance of relationships with older people, general practitioners and other healthcare providers
  • Knowledge of Autumn Care would be highly regarded
  • All applicants must be willing to provide a valid national police check and undergo a pre-employment medical assessment

What you will be doing:

  • Approachable leadership by example, mentoring a multi-disciplinary team across the clinical and care realm
  • Effective communication encouraging each resident and their representative’s involvement in the development and implementation of care plans
  • Take responsibility to ensure care provided to every resident is evidence based best practice and reflected in accurate documentation
  • Maintain current knowledge of legislated and best practice requirements and changes
  • Participate in end to end recruitment, replacement and assessment of employees as required
  • Assist in the preparation of rosters on a fortnightly basis
  • Assist with the development and implementation of the management system

WMQ Community Care Program is seeking Care Workers for our Community In Home Care team. Working across multiple client locations on the Southside of Brisbane, you will require a broad range of skills and knowledge and be able to maintain flexibility with your working hours. All applicants MUST have a comprehensively insured Motor Vehicle, Current Driver's Licence and willingness to drive and use own vehicle in the course of work.

Key Duties Include

·         Personal care (showering/dressing)

·         Ability to report changes in a customer's condition, needs or other relevant information to the customer's care leader.
