About the Role The NBMLHD Child and Youth Mental Health Service provides assessment and a comprehensive range of therapeutic interventions for children and adolescents who are affected by moderate to severe and complex mental health problems, or who have significant emotional and behavioural problems, and their families and carers. This position is responsible for providing a safe and effective liaison service to internal and external servicesresponding to enquiries, managing referrals and providing some assessment and crisis intervention for young people and their families across the Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District. One aspect of this role is to provide a comprehensive response to presentations to the local hospitals™ Emergency Departments, Nepean Hospital™s Triage and Assessment Centre, and the Psychiatric Emergency Care Centre. Registered Nurse - MedicalRadiation Oncology Due to the exciting expansion in NSW at GenesisCare, we are currently looking for expressions of interest for our brand new, state of the art facility based in Kingswood. Ideally you will be able to start in December 2019 with the Clinic opening in early 2020. This site will offer both Radiation and Medical Oncology services to our Patients. The Role In this role you will be responsible for providing best practice nursing care for both medical and radiation oncology patients in a dynamic collaborative environment. What we are looking for¦ · Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) · Relevant clinical experience in Medical and Radiation Oncology with a minimum of 3 years™ experience including Chemotherapy administration · Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to demonstrate empathy for patients and their carers · Ability to work collaboratively with patients, carers and the multidisciplinary team. · Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills · Commitment to actively support and champion GenesisCare initiatives to improve culture, quality, efficiency and effectiveness · Flexible approach to work, with the possibility of working across other sites within the GenesisCare network as required.
